Using the latest in infrared camera technology from NEC a thermal image of an area is created and from this a clear and accurate indication of heat generation or loss caused by operating faults are clearly visible. Such operating faults may go unnoticed for long periods causing a plant to operate inefficiently, wasting large amounts of energy, before the faults develop into serious problems causing catastrophic machine failures and in some instances electrical fires.

For this reason some insurance companies are calling on certain clients to provide a predictive maintenance strategy of their electrical systems before providing insurance cover.

Pro-Active Maintenance Solutions will aim to assist in providing this strategy to their customers by conducting thermal surveys using the latest equipment & software to generate a comprehensive user-friendly report, in colour printed hardcopy, and on C.D indicating areas, which may require attention throughout the plant, providing expert advice and assistance as required.
